Since it's inception in 1995, the mission of the Academy of Performing Arts is to empower youth and the community through the education of the Performing Arts. In that time, the Academy has provided over $25.000 in scholarships to at risk youth who might not have otherwise discovered the benefits that the performing arts provide, such as confidence, teamwork, commitment and leadership skills.
In recent years we have added our Black Box Theatre, dance, voice, film acting and Senior Theatre to our repertoire. We have produced over two hundred and eighty eight highly successful performances showcasing the high quality production values of founder/president Collin Kreuzer.
Our audience has grown to over one thousand new patrons in the last year alone. These patrons have been quoted as saying that our production value is as good as anything seen on Broadway and our intimacy and quality is reminiscent of Hale Center Theatre in its early days.
